CSI: Catholic Singles Involved, the Diocesan Ministry for Single Adults of all ages and all stages (widowed, divorced and never married) invites all single adults to an outing at the Abbey of Gethsemani on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Gethsemani is the home of Trappist monks and its renowned writer and brother, Thomas Merton. For Lexington area singles the Christ the King Single Adults will meet in the parking lot of the WalMart grocery store in Palomar Center at the corner of Man O'War Boulevard and Harrodsburg Road at 11:30am*, have lunch at Chili's in Bardstown, head to the Abbey for a visit to the gift shop and a tour of the grounds around 2:30pm, vespers at 5:30pm, and compline at 7:00pm as well as the possibility of confessions and a blessing by the Abbot of Gethsemani. We will be returning that same evening around 10:30pm.

* For those outside of the Lexington area plan to meet us at the Bardstown Chili's by 1:00pm.
